Good News #3

A guy named Agustin was born in a poor town in Honduras . . . and he had polio when he was a child. (–His last name isn’t given . . . and neither is his age.)

He’s been in a wheelchair ever since, but that hasn’t stopped him from pursing his life’s dream. He’s always dreamed of flying . . . and in 1958, he began building his own helicopter.

Agustin said he thought it would take him a few months to finish. It’s taken him 54 YEARS so far . . . and he’s still not finished.

One reason it’s taken so long is that Agustin is building the whole thing out of GARBAGE. He bought a few pieces of rebar from a hardware store . . . and he took apart a wheelchair given to him by a charity to use the parts, but otherwise, it’s all made from trash.

Despite the difficulties, Agustin says he’s strengthened by those who believe in him, and unconcerned with those who don’t.
