I’m all about instant justice . . . but this is almost TOO brutal.

Earlier this month, a 40-year-old man went into an isolation ward at the Kagadi Hospital in Kibaale District, Uganda, and stole a cell phone from a man who was DYING OF EBOLA.

The police started tracking him when he began using the phone. But before they could catch him, the man went to the hospital himself . . . because he’d CAUGHT EBOLA from the phone.

Ebola has somewhere between a 10% and 30% survival rate. But since Uganda is struggling right now with a major outbreak, not everyone can get the full necessary treatment.

The man whose phone was stolen has died. The phone was valued at about $24.
