The Makers of “The Walking Dead” Dressed People Like Zombies and Had Them Wander the Streets of New York

If you have Dish Network, you can’t get AMC anymore, which airs “Mad Men”, “Breaking Bad”, and the zombie show, “The Walking Dead”.

And to protest being dropped, AMC posted a video on YouTube yesterday called “Zombie Experiment NYC”. They had make-up artists turn people into zombies, then they walked around New York and freaked people out.

A little bit of Olympic Opening Ceremony (or is it ceremonies) talk, Scott and Stephen discuss how they use social media in their own ways which turns in to a giant discussion/debate about comedy. The year in music is 1976, and that Sally Field is a FOX!

(Friday good news) A Six-Year-Old Boy With Cerebral Palsy Competes in Kids’ Triathlons . . . With His Older Brother Pushing Him in a Wheelchair

Six-year-old Cayden Long of White House, Tennessee has cerebral palsy and can’t walk or talk . . . but he’s still probably more active than you are. (–White House is 25 miles north of Nashville.)

Last weekend, Cayden competed in the New England Kids’ TRIATHLON. His age group had to swim 100 meters, bike three miles, and run a half a mile . . . and he FINISHED the RACE.

Cayden obviously had a little help. He competes with his older brother Connor . . . who’s NINE . . . as ‘Team Long Brothers.’

Team Long Brothers did their first kids’ triathlon last June . . . and finished second to last. Connor pushes Cayden in a stroller for the running leg, pulls him on a raft for the swim, and pulls him in a cart for the biking leg.

Since then, they’ve done several kids’ triathlons around the country.

Daily Dumbass!

I thought this may have been Stephen Kilbreath when I read the headline, but it’s not. :( On Tuesday night, 22-year-old Kevin Beaudette of Tupper Lake, New York was injured trying to sneak into . . . wait for it . . . a NICKELBACK concert.

Nickelback was rocking out the Saratoga Performing Arts Center as only Nickelback can do, and Kevin wanted in. So he tried to climb up an embankment to get inside.

But the incline was too steep . . . and also, Kevin was drunk. That combo was too much and he ended up falling down about 40 FEET into a gorge.

The fire department had to come rescue him. The extent of his injuries wasn’t released, but he’s out of the hospital already so it couldn’t be THAT bad.

No charges have been filed against him.

The Saratoga Performing Arts Center is the same venue where a naked woman fell off a 25-foot light pole at a PHISH concert earlier this month. Like Kevin, she survived. Unlike Kevin she was high, not drunk.

A Baseball Player Thought He Hit a Home Run . . . and Rounded All the Bases Before He Realized It Was a Foul Ball

Carlos Gomez is a center fielder for the Milwaukee Brewers, and yesterday against the Phillies, he hit a BOMB to left field. And he made it all the way around the bases before he realized it wasn’t a home run . . . it was just a foul ball.

The best part is, he got back in the batter’s box . . . and struck out on the very next pitch.
