DAILY DUMBASS

This seems like a lot of work to get out of paying $33.  On Saturday night, 42-year-old Robert Engles of Boulder, Colorado was drinking at a restaurant.  When he got his tab, it was $33.  And apparently that was WAY TOO MUCH for him to handle.

He tried to run out without paying, but employees blocked the exit.  So Robert ran out to a covered patio, pulled out a KNIFE, and started sawing a HOLE through one of the thick plastic walls.

He got through . . . but found himself blocked by a chain-link fence.  When employees confronted him there, he pointed the knife at them.

He was arrested for felony menacing, fraud, and criminal mischief.  To avoid his $33 tab, he caused about $600 in damage.

DAILY DUMBASS(ES), TSA!!

Here’s more proof of how MESSED UP the TSA security screening process is. They’re so busy finding water bottles and confiscating five-ounce shampoo, they forget to look for DEADLY WEAPONS.

On Friday morning, 26-year-old Gabrielle Olsen of New York City was going through security at the JetBlue terminal at JFK Airport. The TSA stopped her for accidentally having a WATER BOTTLE in her purse.

And while they were busy confiscating it . . . none of the screeners noticed she also had a DAGGER in her purse. So they took her water . . . but she made it into the terminal with the knife.

A TSA agent FINALLY spotted the dagger on one of the X-ray images eleven minutes later. So they called the REAL cops, shut down the terminal, and spent another ten minutes tracking her down.

Overall, the terminal was on lockdown for two hours. Gabrielle told the TSA and the police that her father’s an antique dealer, and he gave her the dagger for protection. She was arrested on a weapons possession charge.
